I am asking for a variety of resources including peg boards, teaching tubs and puzzles. With these items my students will be able to have hands-on station material to build on and reinforce math, literacy , and science taught in class. I plan to use these items as station tubs as group and independent work. These items will not only be effective for me in teaching but will allow students to maximize their learning my exploring these hands on materials. Not only will they serve as educational tools to enhance learning but they will help students work collaboratively with others and as a fun and engaging way to learn. I find that students are more intrigued to learn when learning feels like play. Purposeful play is key in early childhood and I feel these items will add that sense of play and learning all in one.
