With a whiteboard, I have the ability to properly demonstrate my thinking clearly and model the strategies they need to successfully tackle their math problems. I am also able to use magnetic manipulatives to assist my scholars bridge the gap between representative and abstract understanding. They will be able to understand the base-ten system of numbers, comprehend mathematical operations and recognize relationships among mathematical operations and represent them in a variety of ways. With the Teachers Pay Teacher's gift card, I will have greater access to the distance learning resources needed to give my scholars the most fulfilling school year.
A whiteboard is what I like to call the center of the classroom. By having a whiteboard at home, I will have the ability to give my scholars as close to "normal" instruction as possible.
