I would like to change the way I assess students with special needs by allowing them to record their answers and explanations both verbally and in written form simultaneously. Using the tablet, pencil, and recording software, students can talk and write out their answers to assessments I create/ customize. For struggling students who know more than what they can demonstrate with traditional methods, recording their work in this fashion allows them to show their true level of understanding. I would also like students to create and record their own presentations of concepts that could be shared with other students. We can create a library of student made presentations.
