These sensory materials will help my students in their everyday learning. Sensory play can help my students calm down, stimulate their senses, and develop important skills! These items will allow my students to experiment with different objects and textures on their own terms and gain valuable hands-on information about the world around them. The items provide opportunities for social interactions in our early intervention classroom; where most of our students have a difficult time interacting with peers and adults. These materials also will play a very important role in my students fine motor development. Lastly, these materials will create a safe and comfortable learning environment for my students.
