I work at a Title 1 school where almost all of our students are English Language Learners. Although my students come from loving and hard-working homes, they still face economic challenges. Some students do not even have access to books to read at home. In order for students to feel confident in their learning abilities, they must first have their everyday needs met, such as comfort, safety, and food. It is my desire to lead my students toward lifelong learning; thank you for partnering with me in that process!
