In the era of cell phones and video games, playing board games and teaching them to others can help soothe anxiety and increase attention spans. The many benefits of board games, along with teamwork and collaboration, are why board games are needed for my students.
We will begin each school day by playing board or card games
within my classroom. After students have been taught and mastered various games, we will host a family game night for them to bring their own families and other friends to play.
