Many of my students cannot comprehend what they read at grade level. That is why I am asking for small sets of fiction books and non-fiction magazines. These tools will help them to understand what they read and therefore, give them the ability to want to read more. These items will be used in small groups and for menu reading. My hope is to teach them to understand fiction and non-fiction. By doing this they will learn to appreciate the benefits of reading a variety of texts and want to read daily.

About my class
