I am in my 15th year of teaching third grade. I try to create an environment where my students feel safe, comfortable and willing to take chances. I lost my classroom carpet in a flood a number of years ago. I have since tried alternatives such as carpet squares and seating markers. The best thing to bring together our meeting area would be a beautiful carpet. All of my students will benefit by having a comfortable place to sit during morning meeting and group instruction as well as a quiet place to read during independent reading time. We engage in a rainforest unit and decorate the room like the forest- this carpet would fit right in! Please help me bring my room together
