Students are more likely to read when the teacher has a robust classroom library on hand. We have classic options in our book room, but some of the more recent titles are not available. I'd love to have these titles in my classroom, so my students can choose a novel that interests them and learn to love reading again, or for the first time! Your donations and support would mean the world to my students and I. My students will closely read to examine character development, analyze how the setting contributes to the plot, and the overall message the author is trying to convey. In turn we will write and do some more writing. My goal is to show them that we read literature because it's a reflection of the human condition and what better way to make it relevant for them than by offering choice. In addition to cultivating a love of reading, I aim to make my classroom a safe, comfortable place where students feel welcome. Thank you so much for your support.
