Sharing, working and learning from each other will be so much easier with an easel! Each day students will access the easel in the classroom.
Since learning takes place in all areas of the classroom, easily moving this easel throughout the classroom is key.
The uses that this easel will get are immense! From reading the morning message, modeling writing/reading/math strategies, solving problems, creating anchor charts, student presentations, this easel will be used each and every day. One specific strategy that I like to use in the classroom is is the gradual release of responsibility model- "I do" we do" "you do." I find myself demonstrating this in almost all subjects throughout the day in both whole and small group lessons/activities.
