We are a half day special education preschool/pre-k bilingual classroom. We are located in Cleveland Ohio on the near westside in a predominately Hispanic community. Our students native language is Spanish and as a Dual Language school our goal is proficiency in both languages. All of the students are learning how to hold crayons and paintbrushes and love to spend time at the easel and dry erase board.
All of my students are extremely creative and motivated and are constantly seeking out materials to glue and cut and draw. We guide them with models and instruction and having a color printer would enhance this learning.
