My students love our class journals. From the first day of school we use them to build a center for our thinking. New ideas get placed into them daily, and they grow throughout the year. Students will use these materials to be able to construct journals that will record these ideas and enable students to use them as they prepare for middle school. With these journals, students will be able to create an ever-growing repository of new ideas, and build on prior knowledge. With all of the needed materials, students will be able to color code their way to mastery of their knowledge.

About my class
