When these books are purchased and donated, I will be able to put these book in my classroom and be able to begin forming a classroom library. The reason this is necessary is that there are moments that teachers must provide a time for students to read silently to build their language, vocabulary skills, and passion for their preferred literature.
Providing these books will give my students the opportunity to read both in class and after school. Just like a library, they will be able to read a book when they are done with their assignment OR they can check out a book to take home.
Providing these books will also give my students the opportunity to read materials that fits their age, reading level, and personal preferences.
