Though I am not a classroom teacher, I share the responsibility of providing the necessary instruction to help our students meet learning standards. Teaching with the Mastering Early Learning Skills bundle would enable me to lead the class in fun games that would allow students to practice skills that they learned during my minilesson. I can also utilize the software to provide centers where small groups of students who need to practice the same skills can work together. Other students can also work independently.
My students have always responded well to reinforcing skills through educational games. With a lean school budget, I have become quite skilled at locating a plethora of games on various free websites. The problem is navigating a ton of websites with varying layouts is a challenge for many of my struggling students, not to mention English Language Learners and students with special needs. Using educational software will eliminate the frustration and confusion of navigating various websites with different interfaces.
I am a firm believer that all students can and will learn when given a fair chance with the proper supports in place to do so. Please help me to provide my students with the supports they need to soar. Let's Sow Seeds for Academic Success!
