As with many other districts, our school was virtual for about a year. Not only are my students new to our school, some of them have not been in a school building in over a year. They are also going to be the only class in the school that does not rotate to other teachers. With all of those factors in mind it is essential that I make my students feel welcome and safe. I want to make my classroom a 鈥渉ome鈥 for my students, a safe place, a place where they can feel comfortable to take chances. Most importantly, I want it to be a room where they will grow, succeed, and know that they are loved. Please help me turn a "drab" middle school classroom into a "fab" place that my students can't wait to enter.
