I would love to teach my kindergarten students the necessary skills to read, write, speak, and think. I will use the items requested for centers and dramatic play. Centers are an important time for students to work in small groups. The alphabet stamps and number stamps, and the alphabots and number bots are tools that will make learning essential skills engaging in small group. I will also use the Velcro to create matching games for math and language arts centers.
Dramatic play is a fabulous way students can engage in social studies and apply their thinking and imagination skills to the different themed settings. In kindergarten, part of the curriculum is teaching about different careers. I want my students to truly believe they can accomplish anything with effort and hard work. I want to create career dramatic play themes and educate my students to believe in their future and set goals. The blocks would be for a construction themed dramatic play. Math skills will also be used as they accomplish building tasks.
I would love to create a very fluid classroom where students can have time for academic seat work and time for physical academic involvement. I would your support.
