I teach kindergarten in an inner city school where 98% of student receive free or reduced lunch. My classroom represents a large percentage of economically disadvantaged students who are also English language learners. This year I have 25 students. It's amazing to watch my students grow and learn especially since most of them come into Kindergarten not knowing much.
