Teaching and learning from home is a great challenge that our students and teachers, like myself, are faced with at this time during this pandemic.
Online learning limits students' abilities to stay focused and engaged.
Many of my students have difficulties with sensory overload. With the help of noise cancelling and over-the-ear headphones, distractions from other working family members, pets, or neighborhood noise will be kept at bay. The microphones will also be helpful during live teaching sessions. In addition, whiteboards provide a variety of engagement purposes for students' use and needs such as practicing handwriting, jotting down quick responses to live teaching questions, working out math problems, and more.
