We would like to start a garden at our school to connect gardening to our everyday learning. In Kindergarten we begin to learn about the earth and the many resources that it provides. We will use the border edging to create 5 raised garden beds in the fall and the gardening tools to prepare our beds for planting and harvesting in the spring.
This is an exciting opportunity that will allow students to enhance their learning through real life connections. If we receive these materials this project will cover various domains that are taught throughout the year. Our goal is to develop students that are eco-friendly and love nature.
