The majority of my students come from a Hispanic background, while a small percentage are African American. These students come from a low income area in New York City. They attend a public school with minimal resources that is currently trying to become more modern with the use of technology. These students are extremely motivated by technology and the addition of an IPad to our classroom would greatly benefit them. A large percentage of this inclusion class struggles with the English language. Technology will greatly improve the students academic achievement by giving them access to our schools bilingual math program. This is a fantastic opportunity for these students to use technology, creativity, and motivation to help them flourish within their current classroom setting.
