The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students will allow me to provide my students with hands-on practice when I am teaching them different aspects of Personal Finance. We just need your donations which will get these materials that I have requested in the classroom. The Game of Life and the money bags will allow them to have hands-on experience in what I am teaching them in the classroom.
By using The Game of Life as well as Monopoly I am able to teach them the finer points of reconciling their checkbook and making a budget all while making it fun for them by allowing them to play a game. The headphones are utilized when they are watching videos pertaining to personal finance in the classroom. I also use a lot of Post It notes on the scavenger hunts that I send them on throughout the school to cut down on having to use the copy paper that the district wants us to conserve.
