Flexible seating helps students become more comfortable for a long day at school. Students with ADHD/ADD and behavior issues struggle to sit still all day and concentrate during class. Six-year-olds may also want to move around more. Sit in a chair that will improve his/ or her posture. Flexible seating also gives the student a choice to have different seats if they need to move around. I want to add two active kids wobble chairs and a table that four students can sit around. My goal is to revitalize my classroom one project at a time. To do this, I plan on embracing a student-focused learning environment. I would love a calm, creative classroom-based on every individual's needs. My students are great kids and deserve to be comfortable and focused on learning. The flexible movement will help my students to concentrate more in class with diverse seating. Students that need rocking during the day will benefit from the flexibility from an uncomfortable and distracted student that may be unproductive during the day to finding a comfortable spot that fits their needs best. Flexible seating options stimulate the students' sense of touch, helping students who struggle with ADHD, ADD, and ASD.
