These materials will allow students to engage with learning at a high level. Bright sticky notes, small, and large will be used to visually display info on the wall. Easel paper will be used to anchor learning as we move forward in units.
I strive to fill our classroom library in a manner consistent with Rudine Sims Bishop's ideas around windows and mirrors into various cultures and lifestyles. You'll see many of the books have been chosen for this purpose!
Yoga balls will be used to provide alternative seating options for students. This will allow students to self select the seat that is best for them without causing a distraction to the rest of the class.
