Having a tablet in our classroom will allow for a whole new approach to learning for my students. Not only will students be able to use a tablet for note taking and translations purposes, but they will also be able to go on virtual field trips, create presentations, and listen to books. I plan to have students use this item to create newscasts and podcasts, to explain their understanding on topics learned in class. This gives them a creative outlet to express what they know, and to really work with that knowledge to get a 360 understanding. A donation to this project will help my students to truly grasp their knowledge, and have fun doing it. Having this technology in the classroom will help students to feel involved in their learning, and connected with the world outside. Technology is all around us today, and I assume it isn't going anywhere soon. I have chosen to embrace technology in our classroom, as I feel it will benefit my students, and help to better prepare them for their futures in this technology-driven world!
