As a first year teacher, it can be hard to fully furnish a classroom with the bare essentials. This list of supplies will not only help me do my job better, but it will also help to give my students a more welcoming classroom to learn in. With these supplies, I will be able to keep cold drinks for the thirsty in my fridge, use the rug for our reading corner, and have better organization of papers for the students. I want my classroom to be cozy, safe atmosphere, not just a boring, empty box. With the wake of destruction hurricane Harvey left, many of the schools were left an abandoned pile of rubble. Our middle school is included. Currently, we are having to teach in barren portable buildings and supplies are slim. Your donation will go to giving my students a taste of what I real classroom can look like. Every dollar donated would mean so much to me and the kids, and I hope you feel inspired to inspire them. Edit: We just got hit by another massive flood called Imelda. It left 50% of our homes flooded, so we have to rebuild again. We need all the help we can get.
