Our students have immersed themselves into the wizarding world of Harry Potter through a cross-curricular unit where we read the first book in the series and completed class projects in "potions class" (science), went to Gringott's Bank (math) and learned all about Rowling's writing skills that make this series amazing. As a culmination to our unit, we would love to be able to send our students outside to play real-life Quidditch. Learning this game would not only promote physical education as part of our unit, it will be yet another way we brought this book alive for our students.
