I have known that Kindergartners need to move and wiggle, but what I didn't realize until this past year, was that they love wiggle chairs. When students would utilize them, I noticed that their posture had improved and that their focus and attention to their work had lengthened. The students would wiggle and work and it helped them be able to get the unnecessary energy out while they were working. I am a believer in allowing kids to move while at school and the wiggle seats allow them to move while still working and focusing on the work at hand.
