My students come to class full of energy! By providing them with these materials - wobble chairs and exercise balls - they are able to move around slightly, while continuing to learn. Instead of being confined to hard and uncomfortable seats all day, they will be able to use a more comfortable option that fits their specific need. Studies show that students learn more when they are physically active and comfortable, so these new seats would be a perfect addition to my classroom. This project is designed specially for my students who struggle to stay focused confined to their seats.
