These seats can be used to help my students be comfortable while reading and throughout my centers when we move about the room during instruction for various activities. Changing up seating can keep students on task as they will look forward to moving along so they can each have a chance to sit in these seats throughout the day. Picture being in a middle school classroom and looking forward to a great book knowing you have a very comfortable seat to help you enjoy this book! Students can learn to look forward to reading each day as they would know these seats will be available. Flexible seating can be a motivator for them as I will allow my students' of the week to sit here during my mini-lessons! Simple incentives can easily help encourage students to do well.
