I am asking for CanDo Donut Stability Balls to allow flexible seating for my first grade students to get their wiggles out. I am also asking for Intex Inflatable Empire Chairs for seating in my Reading and Math Centers. My students work with increased focus and productivity when the developmental needs of their wiggly bodies are met in our math and literacy centers. They build core strength and develop balance. Students are able to make choices for seating that is comfortable for them. Flexible seating is especially helpful for my students with ADHD and sensory needs as they complete our learning tasks. Flexible seats can be moved easily around the room to allow for collaboration and group work.
