A sensory table in the classroom will benefit every student. It will help students with fine motor skills, language development, problem solving skills, and social interaction. Some of my students have never felt sand, this will be a great way for students to able to feel/see the sand.
The sensory table will stimulate the students' senses: touch, smell, taste, movement, balance, sight and hearing.
I love hands on learning, that is why it is very important to have a sensory table in my classroom. I believe that having the sensory table in our classroom will be very beneficial to each of my students.
