The books that I have chosen for this project will help my students because my students don’t always have access to public libraries or able to purchase books for independent reading. Oftentimes our school library will have multiple copies of a book, but all of those copies will be checked out at the same time. In addition, my school serves many students coming from low income families, and may not have the access to resources that others may have. Therefore, my kiddos aren’t able to read the books they really want to read. By including these books in my classroom library for students to check out from me, they will have more accessibility and availability for the books they desire.
