All students love a chance to come and be the teacher at the front of the class. With this easel students will be able to come up and share ideas with the class at their own level. When reading a big book, or displaying a poster all students will have the opportunity to see the pages at the same time by using the shelf to hold them. Reading aloud to students is extremely important and will be done multiple times a day giving this easel so much use. With the storage shelves behind all materials that will be used during the lesson can be stored. This will keep the lesson moving and will not be a distraction to students.
