My classroom library needs a reboot. Being from a rural area, I want to give my students a chance to explore the world through my classroom library. I love having new books to help grow their empathy and compassion toward the world. I will use the donations to grow the different genres of books- hoping to reach each of the students wherever they are at with books that interest them intently. Getting teenagers to read is hard, but updated, new books are far more likely to hook them in! My current library was inherited from a past teacher, so many of the books are dated and/or in poor condition. My hope is to change that with some fresh titles! Thank you in advance!
