My students need more than just books and paper to learn in my classroom. With the use of tablets, they will benefit more by keeping them engaged. This will help my students have fun while learning, especially my English language learners. I plan on having my students use the tablets in centers to support their learning in literacy, math, science, and social studies. In literacy, they will play games that have phonemic awareness skills plus more. In my teacher center group, they will use the tablets while we do guided reading. For math, they will use it to learn numbers, counting, and so much more. For science and social studies, they will watch videos related to topics we are learning. Learning with tablets will give endless opportunities for all my students. This will enhance their learning in digital technology and contribute to their learning in an exciting way.
