Students with dyslexia and other language learning disabilities may have trouble understanding content that is delivered through traditional instruction. Using multi-sensory instruction with the aid of technology gives the students a new way to view and "look" at math. The use of this technology and other visual aids are just some of the resources that can be used to help the students be successful. Working with technology helps them to visually piece the math together to ensure they make the manful connections that are needed to help understand the content. For example, the document camera can allow for me the teacher to show students through the projector on the white board the steps to a math equation by showing my work. The document camera then projects that work onto the whiteboard so all students in the class can see and understand those steps.
