I have already purchased two Spheros for my classes, but I have an average of 30 students, so I would like to have seven so I can have them work within their pods. Students will be able to learn beginning coding for robotics, but they will also be able to incorporate the Spheros into my physics course to allow this students to collect data from the Sphero and solve math problems such as speed, velocity, acceleration, or momentum.
STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Students will be able to utilize the Spheros in science, to solve math problems, and help them critically think and problem solve. I want the students to be engaged and if I can make science FUN, the LEARNING will follow!
