My school has taken on the initiative of giving our students incentives for positive behavior and attending tutoring. We are using a behavioral tracking system school wide that tracks things such as tardies or skipping in addition to students helping their peers. Of course those represent both negative and positive points.
Students will receive incentives for accumulating positive points in which they will be allowed to visit the positive point store. Our students are true young adults and they have requested in numbers to have snacks available to them for their positive behavior. We will also provide some of these snacks to our on campus SAFE coordinator to provide kids who may need these snacks.
Help us to support and motivate our students to attend tutoring and maintaining good behavior by helping us fill their stomachs.
