By donating iPads to this project, you will not only help to improve academic achievement, but also help improve independence, self-regulation, and improve the overall confidence in each of my students. Because my students are all on different levels, they get very embarrassed when learning new things that their classmates may have already mastered. My students currently share one iPad that I have purchased on my own, and it is just not realistic anymore. This year our district is having us use a new ELA program that is predominately online. With one computer in the classroom and one iPad it is not realistic to expect my students to get the full experience out of this new program. In addition to this new program, my student really enjoy engaging with subject content through technology, working independently at their own pace on programs that track their progress, as well as playing educational games for rewards.
