As a reading teacher, my class spends a lot of time collaborating and discussing books. By providing my students with flexible seating, they will be able to work in groups, as well as have agency over their own seating during independent time. Empowering my students with choice in their learning will help them be engaged learners. The products that I’ve chosen will give my students options about how they learn and help my students to discover their own learning styles. The stability balls and wobble stools are great for getting wiggles out and keeping students active while they learn. My students also love to change up their seating by sitting on the floor, so these floor seats and lap desks will help them stay comfortable and engaged. I hope that these options will help my students feel empowered in their classroom and continue collaborating with their peers!
