With these subscriptions, my students will be able to keep up with current events. They will be able to read full articles on topics they see on social media to get a fuller, more accurate picture, discuss topics with their peers, learn to understand varying viewpoints, and be able to write persuasive essays. Our English Language Arts class will develop as a place where ideas are shared and respected. Students will develop their listening skills and tolerance for other viewpoints.
