The listening station will provide opportunities for my students to listen to books that would otherwise need adult support. They will be able to hear fluent readers and would be able to repeat any section they are struggling with. It will increase their independent engagement with books during small group rotations. They will also be able to respond to literature that they listen to via oral and/or written responses. This will provide opportunities for my students that I would be unable to do on my own or with my current classroom instruments. With this station, I am confident that we will see growth in my students' reading skills.
