Help me get scientific calculators so my students can conduct authentic scientific analysis of real world data sets. Real world data sets are not constructed so that there are obvious trends. So often, textbook labs are constructed so that students don't have to look for trends in the data, it is obvious by the design of the experiment. Due to this, students often don't see the value of doing actual data analysis. Statistical analysis needs to be applies to the data for students to analyze the data for trends and significance. These scientific calculators will help my students learn how to real world data analysis to look for trends in actual data sets. They will also be able to conduct statistical analysis to determine if the trends they find in data support their experimental hypothesis.
