I am asking for a variety of resources including Dr. Seuss themed folders, passes, borders and name tags. I am also requesting supplies like markers and crayons for projects. My children need these supplies in the palm of their hands so they can write and do math. Writing is key in our class and new, colorful writing tools and magnetic letters will bring fun to the learning area. The Hand Learning pointers will give my children the feeling that they are apart of the lesson. I am also asking for books so that my students will be able to choose from a variety of books that will allow them to read independently at their own grade level.
The materials for this project will bring the lessons to life. My children will be able to control their learning environment while sharing great ideas with their peers, which will encourage them to stay focused and not become a distraction.
