Clutter is a huge distraction. Over the last few weeks my students have struggled with corded headphones and mice, plugged into their Chromebooks. Each cord is about two-three feet long and doesn't make a lot of room for much of anything else such as writing checklists and note taking.
Removing the excess clutter, by eliminating the corded mice and replacing them with wireless mice, will make a difference in learning when students, especially those with specific learning differences, have to worry less about pushing wires around to make room on their workspace.
