During the Design & Model course, students will be challenged to create a stimulating toy for a child with cerebral palsy. By working together in a team and utilizing their sketching and 3D modeling skills, they will build a physical prototype out of cardboard, tape, tubes, Popsicle sticks, foam, pipe-cleaners, etc.
A 3D Printer will bring student projects to the next level and allow them to experience professional product creation. They will be able to see their ideas and hard work brought to life before their eyes! Hopefully, this will inspire more students to pursue more STEM classes and careers in the future.
