Having the listening center will provide my students with independence being able to listen to a favorite book or a new one. They will learn to appreciate a good book and identity the main characters, along with explaining The Who, What and Why of a story. We will be able to have meaningful conversations as they share their opinions of the story. Being able to listen to a good book will develop my students oral language. The ELL will have the support of learning new words with pictures helping them to differentiate the language! It will also support the articulations of language development.
