The new materials will make a difference for our classroom because it will give the children more options during free-choice time. It will be materials that will enhance their learning in language as well as math. I am a teacher who is big on literacy and I believe that literacy can help students learn in other areas as well. I want my students to have the best learning experience possible even though we’re a head start classroom. I can’t afford to fund all new materials and supplies myself and we appreciate whatever is donated to us. I want them to learn about numbers and enhance their fine motor skills.
