These math materials will help my students to understand abstract concepts in concrete ways. It will let them see what equations mean. They will be able to create representations of equations. My hard working students will be able to apply these models to real world math problems. They will internalize the ways area and perimeter relate to everyday situations. Students will jump with joy when we use these tools to explore the world of math and engineering. These materials will deepen students' understanding of math concepts and help struggling students to gain understanding that they would not be able to achieve using only paper and pencil.
