Building a classroom library full of books with different genres allow students to take their reading to a new level. By pushing their boundaries to open their minds to new topics create life long learners.
The books will be used in our classrooms by the students. They will read during any down time that will be available to them. By having certain books, I hope to generate interests among them to seek more books within that genre.
Even thought we are in the world of technology, it is a good habit to set aside 20 to 30 minutes a day just unwinding from the technology. Through books I hope to foster their habit so that they may consider it a life long habit.
